We all have ideas

I have grown up with home computers.

In my household, my sister owned a Sinclair Spectrum 48k and while my memory of childhood is not brilliant. I do recollect playing ‘Horace goes skiing’, ‘Chuckie Egg’ and ‘Manic Miner’ on those rubber keys. At some point after, as I was probably at least 3 years of age, I was reading BASIC code and typing it away just to play ‘Hangman’ with electronic powered pieces of silicone.

This path of productivity would not had continued further, had my father insisted that I ask for a Commodore Amiga 1200 for Christmas one fateful year, instead of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and many more similar decisions.

Now, in what will soon be more than 15 years on (at least) we’re starting to enter the world of common place 3D imagery, internet connectivity and potentially, mind control, virtual reality and possibly alternate reality.

I have some ideas of my own of what may happen, what could happen and where it may go. I would love to produce them myself but at the very least, I enjoy discussing them, even if it is with myself.
